DELORES IMOGENE SHIRKEY



ANNA, IL - Delores Imogene Shirkey, 73, died at 9:35 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at her home.
She was born Sept. 27, 1934, in Anna, the daughter of Herman and Katherine M. Irvin Miner.
She married Charles F. Shirkey on Oct. 6, 1979, in Denver, Colo.
Delores is survived by her husband, Charles F. Shirkey of Anna; two children, Jackie Winkler of Littleton, Colo., and Jill Pinnt of Denver; stepdaughter, Diane Brinkley of Spokane, Wash.; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Holderfield of Cobden; and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Miner; and brother, Edwen Miner.
Delores was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Cobden.
She was a retired food supervisor in the Denver school system.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, in Cobden Cemetery, with the Rev. Kenneth Mixen officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
