MURPHYSBORO, IL – Paul N. Toler, 63, of 2037 Gartside St. died at 3:22 Tuesday, July 21, 1992.
    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Petett Funeral Home.  Burial with military rites will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and until 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
    Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
    Mr. Toler was a retired communications lineman for Illinois Central Railroad.
    He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7190, American Legion Post 127 and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
    He was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Cobden to Jesse and Lucinda (Brasel) Toler.
    He married Betty Bryant on Sept. 10, 1955, in Murphysboro.  She survives.
    Other survivors include two brothers, Lawrence Toler of Carbondale and Cecil Toler of Franklin Grove; and two sisters, Mildred Allen of Makanda and Naomi “Jessie” Mahr of Laguna Niguel Calif.
    His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
