ADMINISTRATRIX'S NOTICE       All persons having claims against the estate of George Bitsch, deceased, late of Washington county and State of Illinois, are hereby requested to present the same to the county court of said county, sitting for the transaction of Probate business at the February term thereof, to be began and holden at the court house, in Nashville, in said county, on the 2d Monday of February 1866 when and where I shall attend on the first day of said term, for the adjustment of said claims       CATHERINE BITSCH, Administratrix Jan. 11, 1866

After George Bitsch died Katharine was named as administrator of his estate.
The two boys who were living at the time of the marriage of Katharine to George Zacheis
were raised in the household of George Zacheis under his guardianship.

Apparently Wilhelm Bitsch changed the spelling and his name to William Beatsch
On January 20, 1885 he signed his name : Wilhelm Bitsch
On February 23, 1888 he was using the name Wilhelm Bitsch when getting married
Sometime after this, he changed all references to his family, previous and current, to Beatsch.
