Asa Foster

Asa Foster's first marriage was to Lucinda Jollif,
whom he married in 1834.
He was just 21 years old at the time.
This marriage produced no children.
His secind marriage was to Mary Lively in 1835.
Tghis marriage produced 12 known children.
Mary Lively Foster died in 1857.
Then Asa wasted very little time in taking another wife.
Asa Foster and Susan Correll were married December 24, 1857.
The haste in re-marrying may have been because of the
ages of the children Mary left. Their ages went from 17 to 2 years.
Susan was about 30 years younger than Asa and gave him
six more children.
