Listed as "Renter", he was transferred to Co. D, 43rd Illinois Consolidated Infantry
Mustered out on July 1, 1865 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

They both served during the Civil War and were in Little Rock, Arkansas at the same time
It was my understanding (from Adolph's grandson) that this was Philip's muster out pay. Why he didn't just bring it with him, I do not know. Kathyrn Todd
