thirty years living within a mile and one half of him for 12 or 15 years before they
enlisted in said service. They having enlisted together....."John Luney's Post Office
address was Oakdale, Washington County, Illinois.

Moses Keady, "aged 51 years a resident of Oakdale, Washington Co. Illinois" attested to
a statement supporting Robert Guthrie's claim of disability. Keady was "personally
acquainted with [Robert Guthrie] having known him for Forty (40) years [as well as]
being a member of the same Company and regiment....."

John Donhousen, "aged 50 years a resident of Nashville Illinois.....that he has been well
and personally acquainted with Robert Guthrie.....since the year 1867. And that affiant has
worked with claimant off and on ever since the year 1872 and that for the year 1872 and
that for the years between 1875 and 1882.....he worked with claimant constantly nearly all
the time as partners in their business i.e. that of Stone and brick masons....."

Dr. Lyman T. Goodner, "a resident of Nashville Illinois, [was] the Physician who first
treated [Robert Guthrie] after his discharge in 1864, for said Disease of Epilepsy.....
[Goodner] is now dead, having died some 10 or 12 years ago."

Colorado, #1621 Tampa Street.

comrade in the same Co. & Regt. And served during the same period of time as the
claimant Robert Guthrie." William McConnell's Post Office address was Oakdale,
Illinois.

Eli H. Pulley and C.P. Pulley, aged 64 years and 50 years respectively, both residing in
Perry County, Illinois, "declare: That they have been well and personally acquainted with
ROBERT GUTHRIE, a brick layer by trade, and residing at Nashville, Illinois for five
years last past. That he has boarded with them almost continuously during that time. That
he is suffering from some chronic disease to such an extent that he is confined to his
room three or four days every month or as long as these frequent attacks last. That he is a
man of correct habits of life and in no way related to them."

of Robert Guthrie." Joanna Parks contributed a statement about her father's epilepsy "for
the last twenty five years." Her P.O. address was Nashville, Illinois.

Guthrie and Sarah J. Carrick 20 February 1862 in Washington County, Illinois.

and personally acquainted with Robert Guthrie, who died at his home in Nashville, Illinois on
the 17th day of August, A.D. 1908 and his widow, Sarah J. Guthrie for about 50 and 60
years respectively."
