Reorganized as Nashville's First National

      ----------------------
The Washington County Bank of Needles, Krughoff & Co., of this city is being reorganized and will soon be known as the First National of Nashville. Application has been made to the Comptroller and the reorganization will be complete within a short time.
The Washington county Bank was organized in 1874 and although a private institution, has been conducted on the most conservative lines, is numbered among the strongest private financial institutions in the state and under the supervision of Col. Krughoff and Hon. T.B. Needles has always held the complete confidence of the people, but the national affords features desired and thus the change.
The working capital stock of the bank reorganized will be $60,000 and will be under the supervision of the Government. The officers are chosen as follows: T. B. Needles, President; J. A. Watts, Vice-President; L. Krughoff, Cashier. A.G. Hartnagle and Paul Krughoff, who at present fill positions with efficiency, will also be interested and continue in their present places.

Name of Nashville Bank Will Change January 1, 1903 3
A new charter has been received and the name of the Washington County Bank or the Bank of Needles Krughoff & Co. will change on the opening day of 1903. The bank will then be known as the First National Bank of Nashville and 6524 will be its number. Thus the bank of Needles & Krughoff which was known over the entire country as one of the soundest and most conservative private institutions in the land will be succeeded by a national.
