      Tweady, Earl Eugene, 85, of Zephyrhills, died Friday (Dec. 29, 2006)
at Zephyr Haven Nursing Home.
Born in Oakdale, Ill., he came here three years ago from Plant City.
He was an Air Force veteran of 20 years with the rank of master sergeant.
He served during World War II and the Korean War.
He received numerous awards and medals including the Distinguished Flying Cross
with cluster.
 
      He was an ordained deacon of the Baptist church.
 
      Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Clara; a son, Randy, New Philadelphia, Ohio;
a daughter, Tammie Tweady, Opelika, Ala.; three sisters, Zelma Wynn, Lela Barber and
Eunice Pegg, and a brother, Sidney, all of Plant City; four grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.
