Oak Valley Church she had written “taken in the early 90’s”

 Oak Valley Free Will Baptist Church was founded in 1854 and is about 3 miles West of Geff on Highway 7 I think.  The cemetery is directly across the road from the Church.  A few years ago they built a new Church and tore the old white frame one down.  When my sister and I were there in May we were so surprised to see the new Church.  Kind of sad because we remember the old one and going with Mam and Pap.  We were going through the cemetery and one of the Elders or Trustees of the Church was mowing.  He very kindly took us through the new church and gave us a picture directory and that is where I got the information about when it was founded.  Not sure who the original founders were but I know all my Simpson relatives went to the Church and are buried in the cemetery.
