Half Brother Killed in Oregon Crash

Nick Qualls, 45 yr, of Langlois, Oregon, was killed in a traffic wreck Friday morning outside of Langlois when a tank truck crossed the centerline and hit him head on.

He was the half brother of Richard F. Reid of Geff, Randy and Christine Reid of Fairfield, and Lori Qualls of Los Angeles, Calif.

Funeral services are pending.

Mr. Qualls, who never lived in Wayne County, was a brick mason. He was the son of Melvin and Shirley Qualls. Melvin, who is deceased, lived in Murphysboro, Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Coleene: three sons, Tristin, Nathan, and Jason, all at home; his mother, Shirley Qualls of

Glendora, Calif.
