Rose Rice
born 22 Oct 1870 in Enfield, Ill. to Toliver and Elenor Steel Rice. She
married William Oscar "Joe" Boze in Fairfiled on 12 Jun 1892.
(He was born 27 Jan 1872 in Fairfield.) Their first child was Carrie May
Boze born 6 Mar 1893 in Fairfield.

One note of interest about Joe, he was listed as a "marble cutter of tombstones" on the 1910 Wayne Co. census and as the "manager of a monument business" on the 1930 census in Wayne Co.
Rose died 27 Aug 1942 and Joe died 22 Oct 1951. Both died in Fairfield and are buried in Shaeffer/Slocumb where Carrie and their sons Rice and Charles B. Boze are also buried.
