THE 1940’S WAR RATIONS / GAS & FUEL OIL

Gas was critical for winning the war. There were very strict limits to the amount used on the home front. Cards were issued as well as coupons to control the amount of gas and fuel used. My grandfather was a farmer and this is his card. Note that he was not allowed to use the gas for highway use.
