JoAnna writes “IN section 15 of Orchard Township, Near Mt Pleasant Church and back in a field lies the RICHARDS cemetery. Even thought it is back in a field it is well taken care of.”
I am trying a new format out for cemetery information. The information on this cemetery is not based on just headstone inscriptions but rather by state database records found on line as well as personal obituaries saved by my grandmother Hazel SMITH Lane, obituaries exchanged with other researchers, the Illinois State Historic Library, Legacy of Kin 1&2, as well as Betty Beeson and Doris Bland books.
