This is a family cemetery in Section 18 of Ustick Twp., named for the original owners of the land.
It is on a high ridge, in the bluffs that border the lowlands of the Mississippi River - above Blind Charlie's Corners, junction of Smaltz & Union Grove Rds.
There are many unmarked graves in this cemetery. It is said that Dwight Harlo Co. R 15th IL Inf is buried here, but if so, its not marked.
