Conrad was sick with a sore eye for over a month, and was troubled with rheumatism. Little contact was mentioned of the larger family Polly Kleckner, wife of Cousin Charles T. Kleckner died in March; had supper at William Benders in June, possibly an uncle; visited with the Riches in Stephenson County in September. At the Annual Conference in September he was reappointed. Attended trustee meetings at Dover Academy and the Ministerial Association meetings in June and November. Went to the Polo Camp Meeting in August. Bot a second hand buggy in October for $25 to be paid for in six months. Bot a suit for $17 in September. Thanksgiving dinner was a rooster donated by a parishioner.
