Rev. Ball of Chicago who preached at the Spring Valley Presb. Church Sunday was entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jamison.

Mrs. Roy Smaltz is hostell to the N.G. Club to her home near Morrison this week Thursday afternoon.

The N.G. Club meets at the home of Mrs. Howard Abbott on Thursday afternoon of this week.

Miss. Gladys Jamison left Monday morning for Maywood where she will teach this year. Miss Ethel Jamison left Monday for Dixon where she will continue her teaching in the High School there.

Miss Freda Badtke is ill at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Badtke with infantile paralysis. The home is quarantined.

Mr. & Mrs. Frank Hook entertained at their home Sunday, Mr. & Mrs. Edward Isenhart and two children of Chicago, Mr. & Mrs. John Neary & Mr. & Mrs. Frank Johnson of Thomson and Mrs. Ellen Hook & Clara & Iraneus Hook.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Olson and three children of Milwaukee were entertained at the Wm. Jamison home Friday night, returning to their home Saturday.

Mrs. George Entwhistle and David Steiner were called to Fairview Michigan on account of the death of a brotherUriah Steiner who passed away Saturday.

Miss Arians of Lyndon started her school work Monday as a teacher of the Spring Valley School with an enrollment of 24 pupils.

Mr. & Mrs. Edward Isenhart and two children of Chicago spent the weekend and Labor day with home folks, returning home Monday.

Mr. & Mrs. Olof Johnson and Mrs. Alvin Rose and daughters Jean & Joann of Morrison were Sunday guests of Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jamison moved from their farm to Morrison last week Wednesday. Mr. & Mrs. Howard Jamison will reside on the farm.
