Thomson Review 24 Sep 1931 Forrest Miller and Mason Hacker are being held by police officers as suspects in the theft of an automobile at Polo (Ogle County) last Wednesday evening. Miller was taken into custody by Sheriff Shiley and held at Mt. Carroll from where he will be taken to Oregon for the preliminary hearing. Hacker was taken directly to the jail in Oregon. The automobile was stolen at Polo and was driven to a spot just outside the city where it was stripped of its accessories. It is said that a spotlight belonging to the car was found in Miller's possession when he was arrested. Hacker, who is on parole at the present time as a result of some trouble last summer lives with his parents on a farm in Whiteside county.
