The organist, Mrs. Austin Corzett, played "Faith of Our Fathers" the processionand and recessional. Donald Shontz sang "Always" "Because" and "I Love you Truly".
Given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Clyde Hubbard of Steelton, the bride was attended by Miss Lois Larson, maid of honor and the Misses Mary Smith and Ella Faye Estes, bridesmaids.
Charles Sisson was best man for Mr. Deets; Pete Casey and Eugene Summers were groomsmen and Donald Stutzke, Keith Robinson and Darwin Knutsen ushered.
The bride's gown was white, styled iwth an off the shoulder Chantilly lace bodice trimmed with a nylon tulle ruffle and iridescent sequins. Long sleeves came to points over the hands and white satin covered buttons closed the bodice down the back. the full ballerina length skirt was Chantilly lace with an underskirt of taffeta. A fingertip nylon tulle veil worn by the bride was held in place by a lace cap trimmed with a tiny nylon ruffle and iridescent sequins. She carried a white Bible and corsage of white and Garnette roses tied with white satin streamers and knotted with lover's knots and red roses. The bridegrooms gift was a pearl and rhinestone necklace.
Gowns worn by the attendants were cotillion blue and American Beauty shades. They were designed with nylon tulle off the shoulder shirred bodices draped down the back and ballerina length skirts with taffeta nd net underskirts. The maid of honor carried a blue tulle muff with velvet trim and adorned with gardenias. Muffs of AMerican Beauty tulle with velvit trim carried by the bridesmaids were also adorned iwth gardenias. Headpieces of tulle worn by the attendants matched the colors of their gowns.
The bride's sister, Mrs. Clyde Hubbard chose a beige dress with brown accessories and corsage of Tailsman roses. A robin's egg blue dress was worn with black accessories by the bridegroom's mother. She had a corsage of pink roses.
A reception for 200 guests took place in the church parlors. The serving table held a four tier wedding cake trimmed with American Beauty roses at the base and topped with a miniature bridal pair figurine and wedding bell. Mrs. Clyde Hubbard cut the cake. Coffee was poured by Mrs. John Smith and the serving was done by Juanita Harrell, Janice Smith adn Norma Jean Carmon, Names for the bride's book were taken by Mildred Deets, sister of the bridegroom and the gifts were in charge of Betty Woodyatt and Pat Schwenk.
