Miss Dorothy E. Tucker] and [Charles] Orville Deets of Jordan township were united in marriage at high noon Wednesday [03/04/1931] at the C. A. The wedding took place amidst a beautiful setting of potted plants and ferns, at the bay window of the parlor of the home. The bride and groom marched down the stairs to the strains of a wedding march played by Miss Minnie Zigler of Woosung. Miss Louise Sivits of Jordan and Miss Florence Goumple of Chicago, a sister of the bride, and Nolan and Edgar Deets, brothers of the groom, stood up with the couple.
