Wedding Announcement

Harold Packer Jr. to Margarita Rodriquez

Margarita Rodriquez and Harold Packer Jr. were united in marriage at the Immanuel Baptist Church of Sterling on June 5, 1976. The Rev. Bonifacio Guerra of the First Latin American Baptist Church solemnized the ceremony at 2 p.m.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and MRs Juan C. Rodriguez, 1211 W. 7th St. Sterling and MR. and MRs.Harold Packer, Rt. 4, Sterling.

Patty Caudillo served as matron of honor and bridesmaids were Annette Rodriguez, sister of the bride, and Sonia and Lisa Packer, sisters of the bridegroom. Sabrina Rodriguez was flower girl and Hector Rodriguez brother of the bride, carried the rings. John Steinert was page boy.

Rock Janssen was the best man and groomsmen were Louis Rodriguez and Mike Packer, both brother of the couple, and Steve Kelly, Elmer Habben and Marvin Younger seated the guests.

A reception was held at Rock Falls Youth Center and a wedding dance followed at Lakeview Country Club. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wegner of Dixon were host and hostess.

Following a wedding trip to Wisconsin, the couple is residing at R.R. 2 Sterling.

The bride and bridegroom are graduates of Sterling High School and the bridegroom is engaged in farming and is employed at Stouffers in Dixon.
