The Clerk said that it was part of the Copenhagen Methodist Church and all the headstones have  been removed and it is fenced. However, researcher Rod Pinkston says: "Vermont Cemetery is not [yet] in the middle of a subdivision. It is owned by the Will County Forest Perserve and I visited it this summer". )  Wheatland Cemetery - Wheatland Cemetery is in the middle of a subdivision.
