Conrad Deist
Declar. Of Intent., page 2; Native of Hesse Cassel, Germany, Embarked at Breman, arrived at Baltimore on May 1, 1856, age about 73 years.
Applied October 13, 1868.

Jean Louis Cherese de Bigault du Gransute
Order Book 1, page 397; He was born in the Province of Champagne in the Department  de la Maine, Empire of France under Emperor Louis Napoleon III, he is over age 2.
He filed intention to become a citizen on August 31, 1856.

John Genolin
Order Book C, page 28; He was born in France, emigrated from Marseilles in France on August 26, 1844 and arrived at New York on November 12, 1844.
He appeared in court, the oath was taken, and citizenship granted on May 18, 1859.

Peter Hartman
Order Book 1, page 398; He was born in Kinnictum in the kingdom of Bavaria where Maxmilian is King. He is over age 21 years.
Filed intention to become a citizen on September 13, 1856.

John Herman Heyer
Declar. Of Intent., page 3; He is a native of Posen Co. Prussia, King William of Prussia, he is age about 30 years. He embarked at Bremen, arrived at New York on May 7, 1866.
Applied October 9, 1876.

William Higgins
Order Book 1, page 247; He is a native of Great Britain under Queen Victoria, Seal of Court of Lebanon, Boone County, Indiana dated July 24, 1852. He presents to the court documentation to prove that he has lived in the U.S. for five years and has lived in Indiana for the last year.
Oath of Allegiance is administered November Term 1854.

William Hogg
Order Book B, pages 70-71; He is a citizen of Great Britain under Queen Victoria. He was born in Ireland, County Antrem. Sailed from Port of Belfast on May 1, 1830 and arrived in Baltimore on July 1, 1830 and has a been a resident of the U. S. since. He has lived in Brown County the past nine years. Marcus M. Parmerlee vouches for his good behaviour.
Oath of Allegiance is administered September 12, 1848.

William Kelp
Declar. Of Intent., page 3; He is a native of Lippe Schaumberg, now Prussia under Prince George William and is age about 39. He embarked at Bremen on April 19, 1853 and arrived in the U.S. on June 2, 1853. Document enclosed from State of Ohio, Defiance County dated March 19, 1855: “William Kelp makes application for naturalization. Native of Germany.”
Applied January 12, 1875.

Louis Valentine Kuhn
Declar. Of Intent., page 4; He is a native of Seilzbach, Prussia under King William III. He is aged about 40 year. He embarked at Antwerp and arrived in New York on March 13, 1889.
Applied November 27, 1889.

Anthony Monoghan
Declar. Of Intent., page 1; He is a native of Ireland under Queen Victoria, age about 23 years. He embarked at Liverpool, arrived at New York on may 25, 1856.
Applied October 9, 1860.

Vincens Osbold/Oswould
Order Book 1, page 399; He was born in Germany in the province of Astria. He foreswears allegiance to Queen Victoria (?).
Filed intention to become a citizen September 25, 1856.

Andrew Ramaculas
Order Book 1, page 400; He was from Germany under King Franz Joseph I. He is over age 21 and doesn’t speak English.
Filed intention to become a citizen on September 16, 1856.

Jacob Renner
Order Book B, pages 223-24, 555; Addendum page 555: The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Allegheny County on July 12, 1848, Jacob Renner, native of Germany under the King of Bavaria.” Jacob Renner proves to the court that he has been in the U.S. for 5 years and in Brown County one year.
Oath of Allegiance is administered May 1, 1853.

Francis Runt/Rund
Order Book 1, page 429; “On June 3, 1852, Francis Runt, a native of Wirtenburgh, Germany renounces allegiance to King William 1st.”
Oath of Allegiance is administered. February 2, 1857.

Joseph Schnider
Declar. Of Intent., page 4; He is a native of Eelses, France, age about 40 years. He arrived at New York on November 17, 1866.
Applied October 11, 1880.

Casper Spitsner
Order Book 1, page 275-276; Entry from State of Ohio, Stark County, 1848: “He was born in Bavaria, emigrated from Port Havre de Grace in May 1838, arrived in New York in August 1838, he is aged 46 year and a Mason by profession.” Casper Spitsner proves to the court he has lived in the U.S. for more than 5 years and more than one year in Brown County.
He becomes a citizen, filed May 1, 1854.

Jacob Stilgabauer/Stilabower
Order Book 1, page 276-277; Entry from Stark County, Ohio “He was born in Bavaria, immigrated from Port of Havre de Grace in June 1846, arrived in New York in August 1846. He is aged 52 years, a miner by profession, and a resident of Stark County, Oct. 31, 1848.” He renounces all allegiance to the King of Bavaria. The court is satisfied that his Intention is legal and valid.
He becomes a citizen, filed the May Term 1854.

Michael Stilgebauer
Order Book 1, pages 273-275; Entry from Stark County, Ohio, October 1848: “He was born in Bavaria, emigrated from the Port of Havre de Grace in July 1846, arrived in New York in August 1846, he is 23 years old, a laborer and a resident of Stark County. He renounces allegiance to the King of Bavaria.” Mr. Hester is his attorney and proves that he has lived in the U.S. for more than five years and in Brown County for more than one year. The court is satisfied, and he becomes a citizen. Filed the May Term 1854.

John Weyrick
Order Book 1, page 278; Declares his Intention: He states he was born in Weinshiem, Prussia under William Frederick III, from whence he emigrated, reached the port of New York on May 10, 1849. He then lived in Ohio for two years, one year in Brown County. Filed May 16, 1853.
