Funeral services for Burnett J. (Pat) O’Hearn, 69, of Indianapolis, formerly of Jeffersonville, will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at the Coots Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at the St. Augustine Church with burial in the Eastern Cemetery. He died Monday at the Community Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a native of Jeffersonville and had lived in Indianapolis for the past 34 years. O’Hearn was a retired employee of the Penn-Central Railroad, a member of the Little Flower Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge No. 17 in Indianapolis. Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth E. Fetter; two sons, Phillip E. O’Hearn, Indianapolis, and CWO Charles W. O’Hearn, White Sands Proving Grounds, N.M.; two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Ede and Mrs. Catherine Purcell, both of Louisville; and one grandchild. Funeral services for Mrs. Pat O’Hearn, 67, 1720 Arlington Ave., Indianapolis, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Augustine Church, with burial in the Eastern Cemetery. She died yesterday at the Community Hospital, Indianapolis. She was the former Ruth E. Fetter and was a native of Jeffersonville. She was a member of the Little Flower Catholic Church, Indianapolis. She is survived by two sons, Phillip E. O’Hearn, Indianapolis, and Charles W. O’Hearn, U.S. Army; one sister, Mrs. Opal Torrance, Pinellas Park, Fla.; three brothers, Charles M. Fetter, Jeffersonville, Phillip Fetter, Atlanta, Ga., Elmer Fetter, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and 1 grandchild. Funeral services for Bernard Ott, 87, of New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery. She died Thursday, March 28, 1996 at the home of his daughter in Sellersburg. He was a native of Lanesville, a retired master carpenter for United Electronics Institute in Louisville and a Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus Cardinal Ritter Council # 1221. Survivors include his wife, the former Germaine Flynn; two daughters, Rita C. Dobbins, Sellersburg and Judie Pennell, Madison; a brother, Cletus Ott, Detroit, Mich.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation at Kraft Funeral Home will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday. Prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral services for Cletus W. Ott, 69, of Georgetown, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 25, at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home, Georgetown, with burial at Edwardsville Cemetery. He died Friday, June 22, 2007, at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Georgetown, the son of George Keisler and Viola T. Ott. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and a retired truck driver from the Floyd County Road Dept. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Mansfield Ott of Georgetown; three sons, Mark Ott, Corydon and Richard and David Ott of Georgetown; three daughters, Telisa Young, New Salisbury, Yolanda Miniard of Depauw and Theresa Barker of New Albany; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Carl Ott of Lanesville; and a sister, Marie Elmer, New Albany. Funeral services for Frank L. Ott, 62, principal of the Silver Creek High School, at Sellersburg, who expired suddenly Friday morning at 8 o’clock from a heart ailment, will be held Monday morning at 9 o’clock, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany, with burial in the church cemetery. He was stricken while on his way to school, and passed away at the home of Arthur Courtner, a teacher whose home is near the school. The decedent was a native of New Albany. He is survived by a brother, Joseph Ott; and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Green, Mrs. Clara Biscopink, and Mrs. William Noon, all of New Albany. Germaine Flynn Ott, 87, of Sellersburg, died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997, at her home. She was a native of New Albany and former resident of Louisville. She was formerly employed by the United Electronics Institute in Louisville and a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sellersburg. Survivors include two daughters, Rita C. Dobbins, Sellersburg, and Judy Pennell, Madison; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5. She died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997, at her home. She was a native of New Albany, a former employee of United Electronics Institute and a Catholic. Survivors include two daughters, Rita C. Dobbins, Sellersburg, and Judy Pennell, Madison; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation at Kraft Funeral Home, Charlestown Road, New Albany, will be until 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 5. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 5 at the funeral home. Funeral services for Mary Frances Knable Ott, 96, of Rolling Hills Health Care Center, New Albany, will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. She died Friday at the health care center. She was a native of Georgetown, a retired employee of the old Rasmussen Florist and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Survivors include four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation at Kraft Funeral Service will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A funeral Mass for Vincent A. Ott, 87, of Georgetown, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 20, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lanesville, with burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, New Albany. He died peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 16, 2006. He was a retired dairy farmer and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Pope John Paul II Council 1808, past president and director of the Floyd County Farm Bureau and original supervisor for the Floyd County Soil and Water Conservation. He also served as a director of the Harrison County R.E.M.C., Hoosier Energy, Harrison/Floyd Farm Bureau Cooperative and the Floyd County Extension Service. The son of the late William J. and Fannie Mary Eve Ott, he was born July 14, 1919, in Georgetown. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Irma Loew and Viola Kiesler; a brother, William Ott; and a great-grandson, Leo Burgin. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary Jane Bezy Ott; one daughter, Clara C. Hopper and her husband, Samuel, Georgetown; sister, Marie Elmer, New Albany; brothers, Carl F. Ott, Lanesville and Cletus W. Ott, Georgetown; grandchildren, Laura C. Sinkhorn and her husband, Dan, Christopher W. Hopper and his wife, Sherilee, Catherine R. Foreman and her husband, Derrick, Vincent R. Hopper and his wife, Heather, Mary M. Burgin and her husband, Clarence, Jessica J. Korte and her husband, Jason, Felicia E. Fletcher and her husband, Ryan and Philip A. Hopper and his wife, Alisha; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. A rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
