QUEBBEMAN

 

 

Funeral services for James R. Quebbeman, 70, formerly of Harrison County, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Gehlbach & Royse Corydon Funeral Home, with burial in Primmers Chapel Cemetery. He died Tuesday at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was a retired chemical operator for the B. F. Goodrich Company in Louisville and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church, Jolly Elders Senior Citizens Club and Jaywalker Square Dance Club, all in Louisville, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Old Capitol Post. Survivors include his wife, the former Carolyn Fidler Moore; two sons, James L. Quebbeman of Chicago and Douglas Quebbeman of Jeffersonville; a daughter, Ruth Ann Bush of New Albany; two stepsons, David and Kevin Moore, both of Louisville; two sisters, Louise Wagner of Clarksville and Patricia Kintner, Corydon; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Thursday. QUINN

 

 

James F. Quinn, 78, of 126 Sunset Avenue, Clarksville, died at 4 p.m. Monday at the St. Joseph Infirmary in Louisville. A member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, he is survived by his wife, the former Wilma Green; one daughter, Mrs. Frank Schwartzel, Brownsburg, Ind.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of Masses or contributions to the donor’s favorite charity. Funeral services for Wilma L. Green Quinn, 89, of 126 S. Sunset Ave., Clarksville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. She died Sunday at Clark Memorial Hospital. She was a native of New Albany and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Sarah A. Quinn of Bean Station, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation at Coots Funeral Home will be after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
