Funeral services for Chris E. Wade, 36, of Floyds Knobs, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at Kraft Funeral Home, Charlestown Road Chapel, with burial in St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery, Floyds Knobs. He died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, in Floyds Knobs. He was the co-owner/operator of Satellite Central in New Albany, and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, New Albany. Survivors include his wife, the former Karen R. Engle; three daughters, Alexis M., Alicia R. and Anna E. Wade, Floyds Knobs; his parents, James and Penny Wade, Georgetown; two brothers, Jim Wade, Floyds Knobs and Tim Wade, Sellersburg; and his grandmother, Mildred Dal Sasso, Terre Haute. Visitation at Kraft Funeral Home, Charlestown Road Chapel, will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, with a prayer service scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services for Mrs. Edith C. Walter, 77, R. 1, Lanesville, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. She died at 5 a.m. Monday at the home of a son, Patrick Walter, Lanesville. Survivors include five other sons, Irwin Walter, Palmyra, Stephen, John, Nicholas, and Jude Walter, all of Lanesville; five daughters, Mrs. Mary L. Bocks, Oxen Hill, Md., Mrs. Rose L. Brown, Kent, O; Mrs. Leola Brawen, Jeffersonville, Mrs. Roberta Jarrett, Elizabeth, and Mrs. Frances Hess; 51 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was a native of Floyd County, a retired technician for the Indiana Soil Conservation Service, a Marine veteran of World War II and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany. Local survivors include stepsons, Larry and Stephen Kochert, both of New Albany; a stepdaughter, Margaret Kochert of New Albany; and a sister, Leola Braun of Jeffersonville. Warder, 73, of Floyd Memorial Hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home, with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. He died Saturday, June 13, 1998, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services. He was an agent for New York Life Insurance Company and a member of American Legion Post 28. Survivors include his wife, the former Janet Johnson; two sons, John B. Warder Jr., Jeffersonville, and Russell J. Warder, West Palm Beach, Fla.; three stepsons, William Coulter, Bloomington, and Paul and Keith Coulter, Jeffersonville; a daughter, Nancy Warder Bierman, Georgetown; and six grandchildren. Funeral services for Daryl K. White, 46, of Floyd Knobs, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at Trinity United Methodist Church, with entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum. She died Thursday, May 30, 1996, at her home. She was the former Daryl K. Richey, a native of Jeffersonville and a former resident of Charlestown; she was office manager for Edward E. Bell, M.D. and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Max A. White; a son, Bryan Glotzbach, Floyd Knobs; a daughter, Angie Glotzbach, Floyd Knobs; a stepson, Doug White, Louisville; a stepdaughter, Laura White, New Albany; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Omer Richey, Charlestown, and a brother, Kenny Richey, Charlestown. Dorothy P. White, 90, died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at the Robert E. Lee Retirement Inn in New Albany. She was the former Dorothy P. Hall and a native of Washington County. Survivors include four sons, Donald White, Gainesville, Fla., Tommy Joe White, Knoxville, Tenn., James D. White, Perry County and Chester White, New Albany; one daughter, Wanda Decker, Gainesville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. William Herschel White, 72, Georgetown, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday at Floyd County Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Highland Baptist Church, Edwardsville, and was a retired construction worker. Survivors are his wife, the former Dorothy Hall; five sons, Douglas and Donald White, both of Gainesville, Fla., and William and Chester White, both of Miami, Fla., and Tommy Joe White, Knoxville, Tenn.; one daughter, Mrs. Wanda Decker, Jeffersonville; one sister, Mrs. Ora York, Bowling Green, Ky.; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Gehlbach & Hoyse Funeral Home, Georgetown, with burial in Satallo Cemetery, Washington County. Funeral services for George F. Wilson, 51, of Palmyra, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Dieckmann Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Saturday at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany. He was a native of Jeffersonville and a former employee of Western Truck Stop. Survivors include two sons, Jerry W. Elizabeth Winterkorn, 79, of Clarksville, died Wednesday at Clark Memorial Hospital. She was retired co-owner of Winterkorn’s Grocery in New Middletown, former New Middletown postmaster, and a member of Order of Eastern Star Old Capitol Chapter, Royal Neighbors of America, New Middletown Homemakers Club and St. Peter Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, Fred Winterkorn; a son, John Winterkorn of Fountain Valley, Calif.; and three daughters, Wanda Badgley of Bakersfield, Calif., Betty Byrd and Brenda Banet, both of Corydon; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Bernard Wiseman, 77, 2105 Perry Crossing Rd., Sellersburg, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Henryville, with burial in St. Francis Cemetery near here. He died at 4:20 p.m. Saturday at Clark County Memorial Hospital. Wiseman was a native of Rineyville, Ky., and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church, Sellersburg. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Ehringer Wiseman; two sons, Joseph Wiseman, Clarkson, Ky., and James Wiseman, Sellersburg; five daughters, Sister Theresa Louise Wiseman and Sister Bernardine Wiseman, both of Chesterfield, Mo., Mrs. Margaret Wilson, Louisville, Miss Doris Wiseman, Green Cove Springs, Fla., and Mrs. Ann Engle, New Albany; two stepdaughters Miss Mary Lou Baumann and Miss Carolyn Ehringer, both of Sellersburg; a stepson, Paul Ehringer, Sellersburg; one sister, Sister Josepha Wiseman, Loretto Mother House, Nerinx, Ky.; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 2003 at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services. She was a retired
school bus driver for the Clark County School Corporation and she
attended First Community Church of God in Georgetown. Survivors include
her husband, Gerald Wooldridge, Georgetown; daughters, Tammy Murphy
(Donald) and Tonya Calfee, both of Georgetown, and Tina Lawhorn,
Jeffersonville; brothers, George Singleton and J. L. Singleton, Ojai,
Calif.; sisters, Ann Allen, Clarksville, and Rose Love, Georgetown; and
12 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, Aug.
25, and after 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the funeral home. The family
