FULLENWIDER, George Clay  died June 26, 1944, Indiana

Alton - George Clay Fullenwider, son of Robert and Elizabeth Frans Fullenwider, was born near Alton, September 18, 1875 and died June 26, 1944, at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 8 days.

He was married to Olive Ewing, of Perry county, on June 25, 1911. One son, Jesse Clay Fullenwider, was born to them. He owned and operated farms in both Perry and Crawford counties. He is survived by his wife, three sisters, Mrs Ottie Deen, Mrs Sally Wood and Mrs Mary Spindler; two brothers, Henry and Peter Fullenwider.

He was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev E.E. Morris from the home and burial was in the Alton cemetery on June 28.

FULLENWIDER, Henry Taswell

Alton - Henry Taswell Fullenwider, son of Robert H. and Elizabeth J. Fullenwider, was born at the home of his grandfather, Colonel Henry Fullenwider, near Alton, May 31, 1868.

At the age of 21, his father deeded to him a small farm nearby which he tended and on which he later built a home.

After the death of his parents, he lived alone until his sister, Mary, retired from teaching and bought a home in Alton. Since then he has helped her make a home.

At an early age, Henry was converted under the preaching of the Rev Mr Wesley at Deuchars, and later united with the Baptist Church at Alton. He served as church clerk and superintendent of the Sunday School a number of years.

Henry never said unkind words about persons and was always ready to help a neighbor.

He was able to care for himself until the day of his death, thus realizing his wish not to be a burden to anyone.

Three brothers, Charles, Peter and Clay, preceded him in death. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs Ottie Deen, Mrs Sallie Wood and Mrs Mary Spindler; six nieces and nine nephews.

FULLENWIDER, Mrs Olive Died January 21, 195?, Alton, Indiana.

Mrs Olive Fullenwider Dies At Alton Home - Alton - Final rites for Mrs Olive Fullenwider were held at the Stephenson Funeral Home in Leavenworth, January 23, Interment was in the Alton cemetery. She died at her home her January 21.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs Susan Campbell, of near Leavenworth, and Mrs Emma Organ, of Vincennes, and a brother, Jesse Ewing, of Leavenworth.

FULLENWIDER, Peter R.  Died February 8, 1946, Cartersburg,

Alton - Peter R. Fullenwider, son of Robert H. and Elizabeth Frans J. Fullenwider, was born at Alton, September 6, 1873 and died at Cartersburg, February 8, 1946, aged 72 years, 6 months and 2 days.

He was married on October 4, 1906 to Ida Riddle, who preceded him in death August 17, 1930. To this union nine children were born: Katherine died in infancy. Surviving are: Mrs Mildred Quinn, of Cartersburg; Eleanor, of Earl Park; Julia, of Indianapolis; Rice M., of Washington State; Harry L., of Crown Point; Edwin, of the U.S. Navy; Robert and Frans, of Alton. He is also survived by one brother, Henry, of Alton; three sisters, Mrs H.H. Deen, of Leavenworth; Mrs Mary F. Spindler and Mrs Sallie F. Wood, of Alton; eight grandchildren and many other relatives.

Early in life he affiliated with the Alton Methodist church and remained true to his faith until the end. He was a long time member of the Masonic fraternity. Practically his whole life was spent at the place of his birth. The last few months of his life was spent with his daughter, Mrs Mildred Quinn, at Cartersburg.

FARRIS, Marie M. Died July 18, 1982, Logansport, Indiana.

Marie M. Farris, 72, 715 North St., died Sunday at 2:50 p.m. at Chase Center.

Born July 27, 1910, she was the daughter of William Albert and Edna Ormenta Kemp Ridge. On April 9, 1928, she was married to James Edward Farris, who preceded her in death in 1977. A homemaker, she was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Wilma Acheson, Rt. 2; Evelyn Hettinger, 715 North St.; Alice Shaffer, Rt. 2, Ruth Shaffer, Rt. 2; and Iva Smith, Pompano Beach, Fla.; three sons, Bill, Royal Center; Frank, Indianapolis; and Gary, 529 Bates St.; 25 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Marocco Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home

FRANCIS, Cilvan Edward,  Died Jan 24, 1991, Tehama County, (Near Yuba City) California

Services are scheduled Tuesday for Cilvan Edward Francis, 69, of Yuba City, who died Jan 24, 1991, in Red Bluff.
A general building contractor, he had lived in the Yuba-Sutter area 50 years. He was a former troopmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 1 of Marysville, and a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a avid photographer. He was a native of Harvey Flatt, Ind.
He is survived by his sons, David Francis of Yuba City, Anthony Francis of West Linn, Ore., and Louis Francis of Pensacola, Fla.; his daughters, Maureen Pulaski of Ben Lomond, Sara Chaffin of San Jose and Kathleen Harmon of Carmichael; his sisters, Ruby Houser of Michigan and Edna Atwood of New Albany, Ind.; and his brothers, Robert Francis of Jefferson, Ind., and Frank Francis of Greenville, Ind.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Isisore's Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Bishop officiating. Private inurnment is planned in Sutter Cemetery.

FRANCIS, Louis Edward Died November 30, 1948, Mill Creek, Deuchars, Crawford County, Indiana.

Alton - Louis Edward Francis, son of Edward and Mary Francis, was born near Apalona, on June 6, 1896 and died unexpectedly on November 30 at the age of 52.

On November 1, 1920, he was married to Lettie Ridge. To this union five children were born: Cilvan, of Yuba City, Calif.; Ruby Houser, of East Detroit; Edna Atwood, of New Albany; Robert and Frank, at home.

He is survived by his wife and children, five grandchildren, three brothers, William and Alphonse, of Oriole, and August, of Arden, N.C.

Funeral services were held at the Harvey Flat Holiness Church on December 3, with burial at the Luxembourg cemetery, near Oriole. The Rev Jean Osborn, of Alton, officiated.

FULLENWIDER, Robert Estel, Died: Friday, December 15, 2006

Robert Estel Fullenwider, 35, Depauw, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006.

He was a specialist in the Indiana Army National Guard and a former employee of Mulzer's Crushed Stone.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Jerome Fullenwider.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Starla Fullenwider and Jerome Mott, both of Depauw.

Funeral: Monday, Dec. 18, at Eastridge Schulz Cemetery in Riddle.

Officiant: The Rev. Philo Jones.
