Obituary of   Paul R Payton

Corunna - Paul R. Payton, 62, Route 1, Corunna, died Tuesday at 5:40 a.m. at the Branch County Community Health Center in Coldwater, Mich.   

Mr. Payton was born June 27, 1912 in Mitchell, Ind., the son of William and Florence (Terry).  He was married on Dec. 3, 1938 to Margaret Cooper in Auburn.  She survives.    Mr. Payton was an antique dealer and a World War II veteran.   

Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Sharon Neible, Coldwater, Mich.;  Mrs. Judy Drerup, Union City, Mich.;  and Mrs. Sandra Ousley, Tekonsha, Mich.;  six brothers, Robert, Garrett;  Samuel, Avilla;  Ralph, Kendallville;  Claude, Auburn;  Richard, Corunna;  and Delbert, Waterloo;  Two sisters,  Mrs. Betty Hissong, Corunna;  and Mrs. Virginia Buttermore, Waterloo.   Eleven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Two brothers and two sisters preceded Mr. Payton in death.  

Funeral services will be at Feller-Graffis Funeral home, Waterloo, at 11 a.m. Friday.  Rev. Don A. Brown from Quincy will officiate.  Burial will be at the Corunna Cemetery.   Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
