MAN HELD AS RESULT OF AUTO CRASH TODAY
Russell Glisson is being held, facing a charge of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, as a result of a crash at 1 am today on Eastern Avenue, between Fifteenth and Sixteenth Streets, in which two parked cars were damaged.
Glisson's car crashed into a new machine owned by Miss Eleanor Drumm, forcing it against one owned be H. D. Gilliland.  The bumper of Glisson's car was hooked with that of Miss Drumm's car, so that it could not be removed immediately. Police who were summoned took Glisson the the state police barracks where he was given a drunkometer test and he was then taken to jail.
Damage to Miss Drumm's car has not been estimated.  A headlight was torn off, a fender damaged and it is thought that the frame and front axle were forced out of line.  The grill, bumper and front fenders of the Gilliland car were damaged to the extent of $40.

Connersville,  Ind. Jan. 26 - The tobacco barn and its contents were destroyed by fire on the Dan Kerschner place, north of the city, last evening, partly covered by insurance. This makes the sixth tobacco barn burned in this vicinity within the past six months, all of which are supposed to have been of incendiary origin. It is thought the fires are the result of an organized band of Incendiaries and a vigilance committee has been organized for investigation. If the suspicions of some of the members of the committee can be verified a sensation will result.
