The little girl is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith. She is their seventh child, the sixth having preceded her into the world seven years ago. She was born on the 7th day of July, the seventh month of the year 1897. At birth she weighed seven pounds, and the name selected for her contains seven letters only.
