BLOOMFIELD,  Ind, June 12 -  Calvin Weeks was placed in jail here last night on a charge of robbing: the B & N store, at Linton, Monday night. He secured a suit of clothes and a pair of shoes. He was captured near Worthington after giving.the officers a lively chase for two mlies. The accused is well known over the county ,and bore an excellent reputation. He was engaged to be married to an estimable young woman of this city and called on her the evening before  his arrests  His father is a minister of the gospel. His aged step-mother is lying at the point of death. weeks was the Republican committeeman of Stafford township. The affair has caused a sensation.

Lagrange is a village in the southern part of the State, on a branch of the Evansville & Terre Haute railway. Lagrange is also the county seat of Lagrange county, in the northern part of the State.
