Orleans, IN. Aug.13,1897. Claud Miller the young farmer of Stamper’s Creek Township, this county, who attempted to cut his wife’s throat a few days ago and then escaped a mob, committed suicide at the home of his brother by blowing off the top of his head with a shotgun while in a room by himself. His funeral occurred at Stamper’s Creek yesterday.
