Commissioners Land Sale.
Notice is hereby given that on Saturday the 25th day of April 1885 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the South door of the Court House in the city of Greencastle in Putnam County Indiana, the undersigned as commissioner to sell real estate in the case of Caroline Williams vs. William W. Williamson and others in the Circuit Court of Putnam County, Indiana, will by order of said court sell at public outery to the highest bidder for not less than two-thirds the appraised value the following real estate in Putnam County, Indiana, to-wit: Lot Number three [3] four [4] and five [5] of block No. three [3] of Berry's enlargement to the city of Greencastle, including a large commodious brick dwelling. Terms of sale: One-third the purchase money cash in hand, one-third in one year, and one-third in two years, the purchaser to give notes for deferred payments bearing six per cent. interest and waving relief from valuation and appraisement laws, stipulating for attorney's fees. "Stebor," the Indianapolis correspondent of the Terre Haute Express, writes as follows regarding a gentleman who is soon to become a resident of this city: "Col. GEORGE W. HINTON, CLINTON TOWNSHIP FARMER, TRADES 100-ACRE FARM FOR BUSINESS RECENTLY CONDUCTED BY FRED BRYAN.

TOOK POSSESSION TODAY

A deal was closed this morning by which Fred Bryan trades his livery business to George W. Hinton, for the latter's 100-acre farm in Clinton township. Mr. Hinton took possession of the business today.

Mr. Bryan will soon move from Greencastle to his newly acquired farm. Mr. Hinton will come to Greencastle to reside.

L. B. Mills, administrator of the estate of the late Harrison E. Eggers, Saturday sold the Eggers farm consisting of 160 acres to Crit Clay, a well-known stock raiser who lives at North Salem.
