Cantigny, Chateau-Thierry, and Verdun. Wounded in action at Argonne,
France. Sent back to U.S. Died of pneumonia Camp Taylor, Ky., February
22, 1919. Buried at North Vernon, Ind.
WILSON, ADLAI ERNEST ---Private
Son of B. F. and Content B. Wilson;
born July 11, 1897, Dillsboro,
Dearborn County, Ind. Later moved to Ripley County, Ind. Student in
Mooreshill College. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army Medical Department,
March 5, 1917, Columbus, Ohio. Went into training at Columbus Barracks,
where he died of diphtheria April 25, 1917. Buried at Dillsboro,
Dearborn County, Ind.
