KNOX.
IND.—(Special.) Henry Clements, aged 19, shot and Instantly killed Mrs.
Edward Davis at her home here. Clements then turned the weapon upon
himself and sent a bullet crashing into his own brain. Inflicting a
probably fatal wound. Clements and the woman were engaged to be
married, but a week ago she broke the engagement and married Edward
Davis. The shooting occurred In the presence of her husband and
mother. Clements called her outside the house and after a short
conversation fired the fatal shots.
