Editor Journal: I take great pleasure in acknowledging the receipt of the timely and valuable supplies for the sick and wounded soldiers in our hospitals, especially from the following societies and individuals, viz:
From the Soldiers Aid Society of Rockville, Parke County, Indiana, Mrs. R.A. Bonsal, Secretary; from the ladies of Merom, Indiana, per Mrs. C. Cushman; from the ladies of Newburgh, per Mr. Phelps; from the ladies of Washington, Indiana, per Mr. Dr. G.A. Schudder; from the ladies of Winslow, Indiana, per D.G. Deear; from the Ladies Knitting Society of Rockport, Indiana, per Mr. M.A. Pattridge, Secretary; from the ladies of Newburgh, per M.H. Williams; from Jos. T. Lamb, Esq,, Patoka, Indiana, and from unknown sources, packages have been received, without letters of advice.
The kind contributors of these supplies are assured that the afflicted soldiers will bless them for their goodness.
