Married on Tuesday afternoon, May 15, 1866, Dr. George E. Jones, of Cincinnati to Miss Ella Yale, eldest daughter of Mr. P. H. Roots of Connersville, Indiana.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Daniel Tenney, of Oxford, Ohio at the second Presbyterian Church, in the presence of a large audience.
Immediately after the service the happy couple left on a pleasure tour east and will visit Niagara Falls and other places of interest while absent. ...
Miss. Ella Y. is a lady of rare accomplishments, amiable disposition and will make an elegant wife,
while the Doctor is a gentleman in every respect who will no doubt fully appreciate the many virtues of his fair and beautiful bride.
