"I, Henry Hull, on oath depose and say that I am the one and same party now drawing pension
under certificate #723414, and that I am now entitled to an increase of pension under Act of May, 11th, 1912.
In my calim [sic] for same which was filed March, 5th, 1914, my birth date was stated as being
March, 2d, 1839, which is erroneous as my correct birth date is March, 2d, 1837.
March, 2d, 1837 is my correct birth date as I have seen the same recorded in a bible (which was
destroyed), and there is a record of the birth dates in possession of the famiy which was copied from the old bible
before it was destroyed.
Witness my hand and seal this 15th day of April, 1914.
Signed: Henry Hull

Iowa, and that I am a Notary Public in for said County, and that my Commission expires on July, 4th, 1915.
I further sate [sic] that I have seen the bible now owned by Henry Hull of this place, and in
which appears the record of the birth years of his family. This record does not show any erasures or alterations,
and in my opinion the reocrd is a reliable one. This bible contains the New Testament and the Book of Psalms,
and seems to be printed by the American Bible Society in the year of 1867.
The record referring to the birth of Henry Hull reads as follows:
HENRY HULL BORN MARCH 2d 1837
The affiant further states that he has no interest in this case whatsoever.
