Vincie Cook, Humboldt, will celebrate
her 100th birthday with an open house from 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 5th at United Methodist church. The event will
be hosted by her grandchildren: Don Cook, Ft. Dodge; Ron Cook, Beloit, WI; Barbara Windedahl and Bruce Windedahl,
both of Chicago. Vincie was born July 6, 1892 and was married to Carl Cook. They had two children, Don and Ruth,
who are deceased. Carl died in 1965. There are six great grandchildren.
