Carson Cemetery - Carson Township

The cemetery is located on U.S. Highway 59, 1 mile east of Carson. Ten acres of ground was donated to the town of Carson by Alva Burton, in the late 1800's for the Carson Cemetery. (Taken from the 1978 Pottawattamie County History.) Some of the stones have been re-located here from the Pioneer Cemetery in Macedonia Township. This accounts for some dates being older then 1880.
