Mrs. Lillian May Gilbert, 60, died at a local hospital Wednesday afternoon of cerebral hemorrhage after a short illness.

She is survived by four sons, Walter Cook of Council Bluffs, Henry Cook of St. Joseph, Roy Cook of Merrill, Nebraska and Floyd Gilbert of Los Angeles and two daughters, Mrs. Codella Lidgett and Mrs. Gladys Middleton of Council Bluffs.

She had been a resident of Council Bluffs for twenty-four years.

The body was brought to the Beem-Belford funeral home, where it will lie in state until the funeral, which will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the L.D.S. church, Ninth Street and Avenue A, Elder Homes officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
