LEO A. TIERNEY, 64, 3106 Ninth Avenue, died Monday at a Council Bluffs hospital after a three-month illness. He was born at Weller and was a Council Bluffs resident 38 years. Tierney retired in 1973 from employment at the Twin City Artificial Limb. He was a member of Queen of Apostles Church.
Survivors include: his widow, Hazel; two sons, Leo R. of Council Bluffs and Donald of Daneville, California; two daughters, Mrs. Diane McMullen of Elk, Nevada, and Miss Sally Tierney of Lovilla; two brothers, William of Melrose and Michael of Hammond, Indiana and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral Mass for LEO A. TIERNEY, 64, 3106 Ninth Avenue, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Queen of Apostles Church. The Rev. Richard E. Gubbels will be celebrant. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Tierney was a retired employee of the Twin City Artificial Limb Co., died Monday at a Council Bluffs hospital.
