The Walnut Catholic Cemetery is located in Layton Township. The first Catholic Cemetery was south of Walnut on land now owned by George Gross. It contained only a few graves.

The Walnut Catholic Church then purchased ten acres on Highland Street in Walnut and moved the graves to that site.
