Goos, Fritz died at his residence on 3rd Street between Harrison and Ripley Streets in Davenport, Iowa today, aged 34 years.
He was a member of a jewelry firm. The funeral will be Sunday.

Miss. Amy Garrad
Yesterday occurred the funeral of Miss. Amy Garrad, aged 21years, from the residence No. 123 Brady street, the interment occurring at St. Marquerite's. the cause of death was diphtheria and the circumstances are exceedingly sad, Miss. Gerrad[sic] having taken care of the child of Mr. Michael V. Crow when attacked by the dread disease. She was finally taken with the disease herself and death resulted.
