McNerny, Miss Johanna died April 15, 1877 at the residence of her sister, 425 E. 4th Street in Davenport, Iowa.  The funeral will be today.

Funeral of Mrs. Ellen Spencer Madden, wife of Supervisor John Madden, was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family residence in Long grove.
Her death occurred Saturday at noon, caused by pneumonia, aged 58years; born near Liverpool, England, March 26, 1822.
She came with Mr. Madden to this Country 30years ago. Three daughters and four sons mourn her lose:
Margaret wife of S.R. Thompson at Earlham, Iowa; Ellen, wife of C. Mart of Long Grove, Mary, wife of James Gear of Long Grove;
Daniel of Helena, Montana, W. S. in Taylor County, Iowa; J. H. at Central City, CO. and George at home.

David B. Macomber,67, of Davenport, formerly of Cedar Rapids and Olin, died of a heart condition Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1996, in his home.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Faith United Methodist Church, Davenport, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Burial: Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are with Runge Mortuary, Davenport.

Survivors include a son, Guy of Rock Island, Ill.; a stepson, Greg Sixta, and a stepdaughter, Diane Parisot, both of Davenport;
and two sisters, Virginia Petersen of Wyoming, Iowa, and Margaret Wendt of Phoenix.

CASCADE, Iowa - C. William Macomber, 81, of Buffalo, formerly of Cascade, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Davenport, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. today at The Runge Mortuary & Crematory, Davenport.

MARGARET E. MEYER
Margaret E. Meyer, 88, of Davenport passed way Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus. Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, Davenport. Private burial service will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials gifts may be made to Missions through the United Methodist Women, or a favorite charity.

Margaret was born March 7, 1919 in Mapleton, IA, the daughter of Varnum and Nellie (Mitchell) Moller. She was united in marriage to Clayton V. Meyer July 10, 1954. He preceded her in death in 1990.
She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women - Past Conference President, Blackhawk Hiking Club; Golden Tones Senior Chorus; Davenport Area Retired School Personnel; PEO Chapter I.C. of Davenport - Past president, Alpha Epsilon chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa - Past State President.
Those left to honor her memory include her son, Charles D. Meyer, Galesville, WI; and daughter, Lynelle E. Meyer, Des Moines, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Mrs. Bridget Malone
Died Friday afternoon at 7:45 o'clock at her lat home No. 3 Riverside place, aged 67 years and 11 months.
Bridget Finnegan was born in Ireland on Feb. 2, 1838. With her parents she came to America thee family taking up their residence in La Salle County, IL, where
Miss. Finnegan was untied in marriage to James Malone in 1858. In 1870 Mr. and Mrs. Malone moved to Iowa and settled on the farm near
Gambril, in Butler township, in Scott County. Mrs. Malone lost her husband by death some years ago and in 1895 removed to Davenport, which has been her
home since that date.
Mrs. Malone was the mother of ten children of which number seven daughters survive being, Miss. Julia Malone, Davenport; Mrs. James Grady, Chicago;
Mrs. W. H. Higgins, Davenport; Mrs. Michael Malone, Bradford, IL and Misses Elizabeth, Tresa and Cecelia Malone of Davenport.
Two sisters also survive, Mrs. George Longman and Miss Anna Finnegan, of Charlotte, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral at 9 o'clock Monday morning and the body taken to St. Anne's cemetery, Long Grove,
for burial by the side of her husband in the family burial lot.
