Mary Ann (VanDuyn) Olinger, born 03 Sept.1840, in Ind., died 1913 in Ind. Husband, Willam C. Olinger, born 1836, died 1914 in Ind. First child, Asa, was born in Union Co., Iowa. Willam Olinger purchased 200 acres. Later returned to Indiana.
Jemima Jane (Van Duyn) Kent, born 1845, Ind., died abt. 1930, in Union Co., Iowa. Married Alfred Kent, born 1843, Lagrange, Ind. Marriage, 1865, Union Co., Iowa. In the 1870 Federal U. S. Pleasant Twp., Union Co., Iowa census it shows children, Cyrus R. Kent, age 4, and O. E. Kent, age 2.

Notes: There was another daughter, Rachel Mariah (VanDyne) Cooper, born 03 Nov. 1843 in Indiana, died 08 Dec. 1917, Ringgold Co., Iowa. Married William A. Cooper.
Rachel Mary (Reasoner) [ Davis] [VanDuyn] Cook is buried in the Reasoner/Olinger Cemetery, Union County, Iowa. Her father, Garret Reasoner and Mrs. Mary Jane "Polly" (Rainey) Reasoner are also buried in the same cemetery.
