Please Note: The background graphic on these sites was created for the exclusive use of Genealogy Trails by two of our hosts, Anne Kunzen and Sara Hemp. Rights to this graphic were graciously given by them to our group for the sole use of our websites. We've been displaying this background since 2006 and as anyone can see from our sites, it's become our "signature" Kansas background.

Even though this background is now being displayed by Usgenweb host Gail Kilgore on the Park county, CO Usgenweb site, it is without our permission and despite our repeated requests that it not be used.

Since we're a peaceful bunch of volunteers just trying to put free genealogy online and not wanting to get all enmeshed in wasteful legal actions, we choose this method to let visitors to our sites know that the graphic was originally ours and was created expressly for us. Despite the unauthorized use on the Genweb site, it remains the property of Genealogy Trails.
