GIFFEN, TWIN SON & DAUGHTER
Rev. and Mrs. W. S. Luper received some surprising news Saturday. They were informed by mail that twins, a boy and a girl had arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Giffen in Iola, Friday. Dr. Moore reports the birth of a boy to Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Leiberger of South Gas.

One of the most pleasant events of the season was the party given by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Vezie on Monday evening in honor of their sister, Miss Hope. It was the eighteenth birthday of the young lady. There were about 35 present.
