LAWRENCE, C. H.

BOTH 35 YEARS OLD

C. H. Lawrence of Hiawatha has a horse 35 years old which he still drives. In the buggy drawn by this animal Mr. Lawrence wooed and won his wife and took his infant son on a first buggy ride. Twenty-five years later, Mrs. Lawrence drove this son, Dr. Edward K. Lawrence and his bride to the depot behind the same animal. (Sedan Lance, January 8, 1904, page 6)
