A.G. HABERLEIN CHOSES AS EXALTED RULER
BY THE EL DORADO LODGE NO. 1407, B.P.O.E.
Along with the initiation of another class of ten candidates Monday night, by the El Dorado Lodge No. 1407, B.P.O.E., the following changes in the personnel of the officers were made: A.G. Haberlein was chosen as the successor to Dr. G.C. Hall, who recently resigned as exalted ruler; Seth Greeley and F.H. Moeller chosen as trustees to fill the vacancies created by the resignations of A.G. Williams and Floyd Sanford; Vale Nance advanced from the position of Esteemed Loyal Knight to that of Esteemed Leading Knight; Homer Branaman advanced from Tyler to that of Esteemed Loyal Knight and Roy Wright unanimously chosen as Tyler, while Charles M. Rodgers was nominated for Esteemed Lecturing Knight.
Incidentally, the entertainment committee of the Elks is planning a big picnic to be held on Thursday, July 21, at a suitable place which will be announced within the next few days--probably not more than three or four miles from town. Seth Creeley volunteered the loan of material for making a dancing platform for this occasion, and with other amusements on the program, along with the dinner, it is assured the affair will be a huge success. All resident or visiting Elks and their families are extended an invitation to participate in this open air party. Further details will be forthcoming in the near future.
