HEITZENRATER, WILLIAM E. "BILL", SR.
William E. "Bill" Heitzenrater, Sr., 67, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1994, at Susan
B. Allen Hospital. Services are 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Beaumont Christian Church. Burial will bein the Beaumont
Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 1, 1927, in Akron, Ohio, the son of Paul R;. and Virginia Givens Heitzenrater, and had lived in
Beaumont since 1948. He was manager/operator of the Straw Service Station in Beaumont and a member of the Leon
Christian Church.
On April 13, 1948, he and Billie Jean Straw were married in Wichita.
Survivors include: wife, Billie Jean; sons, William, Jr., of Towanda, Robert of Ponca City; daughters, Susan McCollum
of Lawrence, Karen Bryant of Tulelake, Calif., Debra Davidson of Winfield; brother, Jim, sister, Bett Roulette,
both of Lakeland, Fla.; seven grandchildren.

Services for William E. "Bill"
Heitzenrater, Sr., 67, of Beaumont,
were held Sunday, Dec. 11 at the Beaumont Christian Church. Rev. Pat Stafford officated at the services. Burial
followed in the Beaumont Cemetery. mr. Heitzenrater died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1994. Kathryn Aldrich, at the piano,
played the prelude and the postlude. Lanea Lewis sang "Amazing Grace" and "Abide With Me".
Casket bearers were Harry Lewis, Larry Franks, Pete Ferrell, Jim Squire, Ken Salisbury and Keith Moore.
He was survived by his wife, Billy Jean (Straw) Heitzenrater; sons, William E., Jr., of Towanda, Robert of Ponca
City, Okla.; daughters, Susan McCallum of Lawrence, Karen Bryant of Tulelake, Calif., Debra Davidson of Winfield;
brother, Jim Heitzenrater of Lakeland, Fla.; sister, Betty Roulette of Lakeland, Fla.; father-in-law, Chester A.
Straw of Beaumont; seven grandchildren.

Geraldine Pope Spivey, 82, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 1994. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Kirby-Morris
Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Beaumont Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 6, 1911, in Wheeling, W.Va., the daughter of Sylvester and Sylvania Shuman, and lived in El Dorado
since 1915. She was married to Theodore Pope. He preceded her in death. On Aug. 16, 1975, she and Robert J. Spivey
were married. He died in 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Leon.
Survivors include: daughters, Corrine Hardisty of Augusta, Carol Prewitt of Ponca City, Okla.; sisters, Lucille

John Fry, 45, Dies Sunday While Hunting
Funeral service were held Wednesday afternoon at the Kirby funeral Home Chapel for John Lewis Fry,
45, El dorado route one. He died Sunday while deer hunting northeast of his home in Fairview township. Born August
28, 1931 at Oil Hill, Mr. Fry was a lifetime resident of the El Dorado area. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Elzie
Lewis Fry (Beulah Dunlap). He married Pat Ratcliff in El Dorado on June 24, 1951. She survives.
He was a member of the Fairview Baptist church and a veteran of the Korean War. He was self employed.
Rev Joe Chapman, pastor of the Fairview Baptist church, officiated at the services, Burial was in the Fairview Towship cemetery. Mrs Dorothy Sommers and Mrs Wilma Sommers sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Amazing Grace" accompained by organist Mrs H W Bullerdiek. Casket bearers where Don Squires, Don Robinson, George Kinney, David Kimball, Harold Mosier and Darrell Shriver. Honorary beares were Bud Johson, Hugh White, Ed Wildon, Gairl Smith, Harold Swigart, Robert Carson, John Hogobomm, Bill White and Jim Smith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three
daughters, Mrs Jeanie Gomez, 920 Cherokee, Mrs Brenda Haines, Olathe, and Jonna Fry, of the home; four sisters,
Mrs Louise Green, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Marie Neer, ElDorado route four, Mrs Betty Mitchell, Haysville, and Mrs.
Berniece Glazier, Wichita; and two grandchildren. His parents and two brothers, Arthur and Bill, preceded him
in death.
